How much it took to crawl out of bed

What strength it took to smile
when you had nothing but tears inside.

You're going to wake up and know
How brave you are.
How much courage it took to face the day
Knowing there would not be enough
Time, money, space, you
To spread around to every need.
Yet you got out of bed and
tried anyway.
One day...
You're going to wake up and realize
You are remarkable, beautiful, true.
And this world is a better place
because you got up and faced every day
even when you didn't want to.
